Since Sunday the 2nd everyone has been getting settled into their new routines. Here’s just a little sample of some of what has taken place:
Monday: All the Coaches and Pastors met on Monday to pray and discuss the details of the up coming weeks.
Tuesday: Pastor Alan and Pastor Claire had their first day in the office with meetings all day for inductions – getting to grips with their new employer’s handbook. They also started setting up their new office space as well as inductions on how the new office and ministry operates. Tuesday evening we had our first INSPIRE together. This was a powerful time of worship and Pastor Matt led by the Holy Spirit ministered to Pastor Alan and others in the church. We will be having INSPIRE for the next several weeks!
Wednesday: More ‘inductions’! Pastor Alan was working on the new church accounts.
Thursday: This was the first ‘Pastors Meeting’. All four pastors are meeting each week to pray together and discuss the details of the merger and the ministry. This first prayer time was a very special time in the Holy Spirit.
Friday: Pastor Matt and Julie were in Coventry with Rhema Alumni.
Saturday: Pastor Matt was the guest speaker at Bethany Worship Centre in Gatley for their Men’s Breakfast. In the evening we watched USA v. England in the Rugby World Cup with some of the other Rugby fans in the church!
