Pastor Matt and Julie had a great time celebrating KF Manchester’s 10 year celebration! Pastor Matt comments, ‘There was a real sense of God’s destiny on the day – to be a part of it really blessed Julie and I’.
Pastor Claire and several church members shared some of the victories and high points from the past decade, highlighting how the area had seen significant change, and so many peoples lives had been blessed. Then Pastor Alan shared a short but stirring message about how we should not look at this merger as the end of KF Manchester, but rather the beginning of the fulfillment of so many things that have been prayed for over the past 10 years.
Afterwards, Pastor Matt and Julie introduced themselves and their family showing pictures and explaining a little of their journey over the past 13 years, and then spoke concerning what each of the churches could expect during the transitional time and shared some of the vision of the new building project. Pastor Matt also honoured and commended the KF Manchester church for being so humble to take this step. Commenting on this he said, ‘Each church has to humble itself in this process – there will be alot of give and take’. He also admitted that there seems to be ‘pre-wedding’ jitters, but the opportunity to do something really special for God brings such excitement at the potential here. ‘Each church could continue as they are and each would do a good job. However’, Pastor Matt continued, ‘Together we are stronger and just as one can put a thousand to flight and two 10,000 – we are looking for exponential increase in every area from this.'

Pastor Matt and I had a great time at Kingdom Faith on Sunday!! its great to get to know everyone. I was a little nervous but enjoyed every minute. I am really looking forward to celebrating on 2 Sept!! This will be such a fun time as we all get to know one another. Lots of food Lots of fun. Come quick 2 Sept!

This is so exciting!! In addition to the fantastic news and all the information on this blog, we just heard Pastor Matt and Pastor Alan on UCB radio live from Faith Camp. Brilliant stuff! Thank You Lord for unity in the Body of Christ... Together Stronger indeed!

That's right Mattias - We were asked to do a Premier Radio Spot as well as UCB. There are now literally thousands who know what we are doing!
We also did a 'web interview' for KF's new website. People kept coming up to the four of us (Pastors Alan and Claire and Julie and I) and told us how excited they were and how they were looking forward to coming and visiting the church!

How truly blessed we are to hear of the unification of GLORY that is going to take place. We pray for you two and the whole family daily and will always remember our time in Manchester. It is so exciting to see God building a strong army in England. We await further details and celebrations. We love the both of you and miss you lots. Tell all your members especially those that come over with the Bible School they are lifted in prayer before the Father often. Can not wait The Best is Yet to Come!!!!!
